India has the largest adolescent population in the world. They are the future of the nation, forming a major demographic & economic force. They have specific needs which vary with gender, life circumstances and socio-economic conditions. While working with adolescent health, we need to adept multidimensional approach which covers all the subject which reflects to their life when they entered in teen age like mental health, physical health, life skill education, behaviour change etc. Nirvaah is implementing partner for adolescent health and menstrual health and hygiene activities through development and humanitarian programmes across the state. We commit to building programmes that increase confidence, knowledge, and skills – and improve access to materials and facilities – for adolescent girls and women to manage their menstruation safely and with dignity.
